Dieser Reise-Podcast über Buchholz in der Nordheide und das Flair Hotel zur Eiche ist ein Mitschnitt der Hörfunk-Sendung "Reisefieber" auf Radio Cottbus. Am Studio-Mikrofon: Sarah Fuchs. Autor und Interviews: Peter von Stamm.

Die Nordheide liegt südlich von Hamburg und ist die Region im Nordwesten der Lüneburger Heide. Die größte Stadt der Nordheide ist Buchholz mit knapp 40.000 Einwohnern. Nur ein paar Minuten vom Bahnhof in Buchholz entfernt liegt das familiengeführte Flair Hotel Zur Eiche. Geführt wird das Hotel von den Geschwistern Christine Buchholz und Jan Philip Stöver, die den Familienbetrieb von ihrem Vater übernommen haben und im Podcast ausführlich zu Wort kommen.

Übrigens gibt es deutschlandweit 45 Flair Hotels und ein weiteres Flair Hotel in Österreich. Jan Philip Stöver, der für das Hotel-eigene Restaurant "Henry's" verantwortlich ist, wurde von den Flair Hotels zum „Flair Koch des Jahres 2020“ gewählt.
