Nuance is Against My Religion

A great litmus test for whether or not someone is speaking truthfully is to measure how much nuance and qualification they feel they must include. It's one thing to strive to be a great communicator. It's an entirely another thing to be the kind of communicator who has to assort a great many pillows around their listeners so as to never bump in to their sensibilities. Ask yourself: can you speak the truth clearly and boldly, or is the fear of man gripping you?
