The Book of Romans, Part 73: Wishing Ourselves Accursed II (Rom. 9:1-8)

As we began to see yesterday, Paul’s evangelistic zeal was very real and very appropriate. However, it was NOT a misplaced zeal that was somehow hoping that some people among his Jewish brethren who otherwise were bound for hell would turn around and embrace the gospel so they could go to heaven. His topic was time salvation – timely deliverance through the gospel – rather than eternal salvation which is solely in the hands of God. Join us today as we see that the zeal of the Apostle Paul ought to be the same evangelistic zeal we have today.
