Geoffrey Mark is a walking encyclopedia of show business history. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised all over the country, Mr. Mark has worked as an actor, singer, stand-up comedian, radio host, and Grammy nominated writer. He writes and produces documentaries and reality shows for cable television.
Jazz singer, comedian, radio show personality, show business historian, actor, producer and best-selling author Geoffrey Mark is marking his fiftieth anniversary in show business. Mr. Mark got started professionally when he was only fifteen, co-starring in "L'il Abner" at the Colony 7 Dinner Theater outside of Washington, D.C.
Through the years, Mr. Mark has starred off-Broadway in five productions, been a huge success in night clubs all over the world singing jazz and doing stand-up comedy, written and produced dozens of programs for cable TV, is the author of the best-selling tomes "The Lucy Book", "Ethel Merman: The Biggest Star on Broadway" and two books on Ella Fitzgerald. He is also the mighty proud recipient of an Emmy Award, as well as a Grammy Award nomination.
