Top 10 UNC Moments from 2023-24, part 2: The RJ Davis Show | Special careers for Vance Honeycutt / Drake Maye

The end of July is upon us and that means it’s time for the Top 10 Most Impactful Moments from UNC Athletics during the 2023-24 academic year. We’re counting down 10 teams, individuals, or specific moments that happened during the season that left a lasting imprint on Carolina. In part two (of three) we’ll take the countdown from 6 to 4, discussing three different Tar Heels who had stellar individual seasons or careers. Starting with RJ Davis who turned in one of the great single basketball seasons in Carolina history, including setting records for most three-pointers in a season and most points scored in the Dean Dome, all while racking up ACC Palyer of the Year and 1st Team All-America honors. We’ll also discuss Vance Honeycutt (Tar Heel baseball) and Drake Maye (Tar Heel football) who both wrapped up legendary UNC careers and were subsequently drafted in the first round of their sport, by the Orioles and Patriots respectively.
