evaṁ saṁvatsare jāte
mayā tatraikadā śrutam
mathurāyāḥ prāyātebhyo
’tratya-vṛttaṁ viśeṣataḥ
TRANSLATION
Thus one year passed, and then one day I heard some detailed news of Mathurā from visitors who had come from there.
