When you read the Bible chronologically, you catch some things you may miss when reading straight through from Genesis to Revelation. Take 2 Samuel 24 and 1 Chronicles 21, for example. In 2 Samuel, the verses say that God incited David to take a census of his army, while 1 Chronicles says it was Satan that incited David. Why the disparity? Who actually incited David?
