The U.S. Army has said it will reexamine its decision to cancel religious support contracts for Army chapels, amid pushback from the Archdiocese for the Military Services. The Vatican extends permission for the Traditional Latin Mass at two churches in the Diocese of Cleveland.

Divine liturgy resumes at the historic Al-Tahera Chaldean Church in Mosul, Iraq, nearly a decade after the church was desecrated by the Islamic State. A new religious liberty report suggests some 5.4 bullion people live in countries marked by serious religious liberty violations. A 78-year-old in New Jersey has been charged with stealing more than half a million dollars from the parish where he was financial director.
