We hold this truth to be self-evident: the US government lacks the moral authority to dictate who can and can't get married. But like, how did we get here? This week we're talking about how Black folks convinced the government to let us marry whoever TF we want AND helped lay the groundwork for marriage equality across the board. Turns out, our liberation is all tied together.
