Our guest today is Mike Ealy who started investing in 1999 but lost everything and even became homeless in 2002-2003; however, he was able to get back into real estate and became financially independent in just 4 years after.

Today, he owns 1200 apartment units, 40+ houses, a few parcels of land, a hotel, and an industrial warehouse. Leading his company, they have acquired 3,000 apartment units. In addition, with their hotel partners, they have 5,000 hotel keys or $1.5 BILLION worth of hotels under management.

His company’s main expertise is doing value-add improvements cost-effectively by being vertically integrated.
