Sihol Situmorang grew up in a Christian family, he was abused by his mother and his father was absent which led him to same-sex attraction. Knowing the Bible, he struggled with homosexuality and his faith. Sihol tried to change himself but failed and said he believed the lie that he was born that way and thought being gay was his identity.
