5/24/22 John Fricke’s opera debut as a supernumerary

John Fricke attended the Lyric Opera of Chicago (a performance of Puccini's TOSCA) back in 1971 when he was just 16 years old. Earlier this spring, he fulfilled a long-held dream by being cast as a supernumerary in a LOC production of TOSCA. In this interview, he describes the experience from his audition to his closing performance.
