This week, Trevor is joined by his brother Matt to review Michael B. Jordan's, Creed III (2023)!

Directed by franchise star, Michael B. Jordan, Creed III (2023) is the latest film in the Rocky/Creed series of films.

The first Creed film to not feature Sylvester Stallone or the character of Rocky Balboa, Creed III suffers from a bit of an identity crisis in the form of attempting to strike out on its own and forge a new path, while simultaneously deliberately referencing elements from earlier films in the series.

While the film is stylish in presentation, and attempts to examine some legitimately interesting contemporary themes regarding modern masculinity, the overall execution of the narrative in Creed III is deeply flawed, in frustrating ways.

Strangely rushed in its 2nd half, and lacking in confidence and consistency in its characterizations, Creed III is an ambitious, but unfortunately well below average entry in the Rocky/Creed series.
