We can see the future, we know where it is going we want to be always educated ourselves if you carry on doing what you were 15 years ago you will not advance in business. Mentors should be highly valued as you know they have likely been through difficulties in their businesses. When you speak to mentors or others who have been successful in business, they are telling their stories raw, there is no script or strategy and they give you the belief if they have done it you can do it. You learn from your loses, but you won’t make the same mistakes again. The start-up phase is usually the toughest phase but the most enjoyable, you have to enjoy the process. Many people end up placing too much pressure on themselves, they want that big goal straight away. If you’ve had a big business win, just enjoy it. The journey to success has to be enjoyed, enjoy the wins because the pressures of business are there all the time anyway. It is really important to open up to people if you are struggling in your business if you don’t open up and you don’t be open and honest with your mentor or the person you work with then you will go down the path of fighting against something that you need to let out. When someone very close to you tells you that you’re not going to be successful in business and tells you time and time again, and perhaps you’re going into a competitive industry that you are not familiar with it is not nice to hear. This usually makes you want to do it, even more, make sure you give it your all and do it for yourself.
