Lauren McCluskey was a senior at the University of Utah when she began dating a man who exhibited abusive behavior almost immediately. After learning the truth about his criminal past, Lauren left him and made many efforts to seek help from campus and local police. Despite these efforts, Lauren became a statistic. Meg talks about Lauren’s heartbreaking story and how young women between the ages of 16 and 24 experience the highest rate of violence at the hands of an intimate partner.
