Jordan Peele, the innovative and stunning director of Get Out and Nope, lends his (producer) name to HIM, a new horror film about a young football quarterback facing an aging rival for the top spot on a pro team. Directed by Justin Tipping and starring Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers,  the trailers sold this as a seemingly brutal, gory “The Substance meets the NFL”. Sadly, the Boyz, from the opening moments of the episode  just can’t hide their…..

….utter disdain for this film. Period. How could such promise be squandered in spectacular fashion?
