Inside the latest Locked on Canadiens 

Free agency has started around the NHL and the Montreal Canadiens were mostly quiet while other teams were spending money at an insane pace. The team did make arguably the best move of the day, extending forward Juraj Slafkovsky for eight years and setting a firm window for the their contending period. 

While Slafkovsky was the big news, the Canadiens did make a number of smaller signings, primarily aimed at strengthening the Laval Rocket for next year. Scott takes a look at the new faces, and what we might expect in the coming days for possible signings.
