Today, I am blessed to have here with me Brad & Maggie Jones. Maggie is a director & Producer, while Brad is a director, writer, editor & producer. After Maggie overcame her stage 4 lung cancer, she and her husband Brad decided to make a documentary series to create an easy-to-understand way of showing people the truth about cancer and how to deal with it.
Maggie is diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, a disease that has a one percent survival rate. This shocking turn of events began after they moved to Hong Kong, brimming with joy as they went through their busy lives. Doctors gave her six to eight months to live, and she resigned for a while but immediately got back to her feet, clinging to the one percent chance and believing that she would survive no matter what.
She started fasting and reading books, discovering things about the metabolic theory of cancer. She dives deeper until one year later; Maggie is completely cancer free. She lived her best life and aimed to experience her given life to the fullest. She began exercising, changing her eating lifestyle, and learning to love and appreciate her body.
Her mission now is to raise awareness of metabolic therapies and help other people thrive and live their best lives.

[10:53] Win the Life and Death Journey Against the Fearsome Cancer
- Be supportive. That is the most important thing to power up people with cancer.
- In many cases, you have to fight against your oncologist, or in Maggie’s case, she completely ignores them, or she would tell them what she is doing.
- Believe your body is a placebo. It's more important than keto, metabolic theory, than everything.
- If you have somebody in your life who has a diagnosis like cancer or whatever it is, treat them as if they're healthy.
- Fasting is Maggie’s current favorite therapy.
[22:26] Don't Hate Cancer: Everyone Has It Inside Their Body
- It was very important to realize that your cancer cells are your cells. It's not an invading virus, bacteria, fungus, or whatever.
- Everybody's got a little bit of cancer inside them.
- It's extremely rare for you to be cured of cancer and never to have a recurrence.
- Don't panic about your first recurrence. Living with cancer is like living with a human body.
[25:45] What You Need to Learn and Understand About Tumor Markers
- It's different for every cancer, and lung cancer doesn't have an official tumour marker.
- 90% of lung cancers are smokers.
- It can be something that can help, but at the same time, don't put a ton of weight into it until you are sure. Try to find one that works while you have a tumot.
[35:47] War Against Cancer: Why is it the Wrong Mindset To Have?
- Getting cancer from genetic mutations is not proven. It is just a theory.
- The problem with the war on cancer is that we're putting all our effort behind this one genetic mutation theory, and scientists aren't opening their minds to other ways of cancer forming.
- There are so many types of cancer, not even one type of disease.
- It is taking away the funding from things like metabolic therapy that teach you that could create a core cause of cancer.
- You're never going to eradicate the disease. You have to be aware of it.
[39:40] Look for The Best Treatment: Chemotherapy Isn't Your Only Choice
- The five-year survival rate in chemotherapy for breast cancer was 2.1%. A very low percentage.
- There are many viable options to fight cancer, and keto is one of them.
- If you fasted for 13 hours or more, you have a 36% less likelihood of that breast cancer returning.
- There have been 92 new therapies over the last 17 years, and the overall survival was only two months. Not to mention how it costs compared to fasting, which is free.
