On February 25, 1987, the book “Communion: a true story” hit the bookshelves and, by the end of one week, rocketed to a spot on the national bestsellers list. The narrative that the author laid out was of a terrifying experience in encountering beings that were not of this Earth. These visitors, whose descriptions resonated with others who had similar experiences, performed nightmarish examinations on the unsuspecting author and left him with, what he claims, was a fragmented memory and debilitating maladies immediately following his encounter.
