Even after a few years, it is hard to fully recognize Fox Studios as a part of the larger Disney family. Even as the prominently feature X-men, Simpsons and Family Guy, there is a feeling that they are less of a 'member' of the family and more of a 'trophy.'

But in this odd space, Carter realized that Fox held a sneaky addition to the New Year's canon: Futurama. Matt Groening's second most iconic show and cult hit, the series started on New Year's Eve 2999 and survived multiple scheduling moves and cancelations.

This week, Sydney watches 'Space Pilot 3000,' 'The Series has Landed' and 'Luck of the Fry-rish' for the first time and shares her feelings on this weirdly mundane, heartful show.
