The Message of Messiah

After Jesus' time in the wilderness, He entered the city of Capernaum and formally began His earthly ministry with the proclamation of the same message as His forerunner, John the Baptist: 'Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near!' As He proclaimed this good news of the Kingdom, Jesus commanded some fishermen to follow Him along with the promise that if they followed Him: 'I will make you fishers of men.'
