"Be Vigilant"

Isaiah 38:17

New International Version

17 Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.

It is because of God’s great patience and mercy that we have not died in sin. He wishes to deliver and rescue everyone from a horrible eternity spent in Hell.

Unbelievers have been given another day to surrender their lives to God and have their sins forgiven. Believers have been given another day to share the gospel message with someone who does not know the Lord. There are no second chances after death.

Are you living each day as if it is your last? Are you spending each day with your family, friends, and coworkers as if it is their last? It is easy to get caught up in the cares of this world, forgetting the reality of Hell and the many who will die separated from God for eternity. Christians must remain vigilant and ready to share the reason for the hope that lies within them.
