PHILLIES POSTCAST: Phillies LOSE NLDS Gm2, 4-3 as Dodgers take 2-0 series lead

The Philadelphia Phillies' 9th Inning Rally comes up short as they lose to the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4-3!  

 

Blake Snell and Jesus Luzardo were locked in a pitcher's duel through the 6th inning, holding the opposition scoreless.  

 

In the 7th, the Dodgers took Luzardo for a single and a double to start off the inning, putting runners on 2nd and 3rd with no out. Orion Kerkering took over for Luzardo and allowed both his inherited runners to score. Matt Strahm then relieved Kerkering and surrendered an RBI single to Shohei Ohtani. Four runs crossed the plate in total in the inning.  

 

The Phillies got one run back in the 8th on a Trea Turner RBI single and two more in the 9th on a Nick Castellanos two-run double.
