Laure Redmond's high-octane life as a fitness coach began in New York City, where she ran a gym and trained stars like Tom Cruise, Madonna and Mary Tyler Moore. As her career progressed so did her dependence on alcohol. Laure is a self-described Type A personality, who achieved great success and had earned pretty much everything she'd ever wanted but says she felt mounting shame as it related to her addiction. Still, she continued to function at a high level, publishing a successful book, being featured in O Magazine as an author and life coach and making TV and Radio appearances throughout America and overseas. Finally, enough was enough and Laure got sober four years ago. If her career was flying before she stopped drinking, now it appears to be soaring.
