We begin by addressing the concept of Christian marriage as it is traditionally understood—supposedly a sacred union meant to uphold mutual respect, love, and commitment under the eyes of God. However, we quickly pivot to discuss how this ideal is frequently compromised by an infiltration of modern feminist thought, which we term "Christofem." This term is used to describe a blend of Christianity and feminism where traditional roles are selectively adhered to or completely disregarded, often to the disadvantage of men.
Central to our conversation is the manipulation of traditional values and modern feminist ideals, which can leave men in a precarious position. We argue that women, within some Christian marriages, cherry-pick aspects of both ideologies to suit their needs—opting for traditionalism when it benefits them and feminism when it offers a distinct advantage.
