Mike Gundy has been fired as head coach of the Oklahoma State football program after a disappointing start to the 2025 season. The Cowboys opened the year with a 1-2 record, continuing a downward trend that began at the end of the 2024 season. Gundy, who had been with the program for 20 seasons and held an overall record of 170-90, was one of the longest-tenured coaches in college football.
