This town is awesome with so much on offer for every style of traveller and is one of the safest and welcoming towns we have visited during our travels! We set up camp at the local’s favourite off grid waterhole just on the outskirts of town, and share our top experiences and must do’s when visiting this vibrant outback town. 

 

Our top picks include the Australian Age of Dinosaurs, the Lark Quarry Dinosaur Stampede with Red Dirt Tours, the world class Waltzing Matilda Centre, and the quirky Musical Fence.

Our epic road trip from South East Queensland to the incredible Red Centre – Uluru and Kata Tjuta – the beating heart of Central Australia, is underway!
