Front Row Classics kicks off Summer 2021 with a touch of science fiction. We tackle the 50s sci-fi masterpiece, The Day the Earth Stood Still. Ryan Lootens, of Front Row Flashbacks, joins Brandon and Eric to break down one of the most popular films of the decade. The hosts discuss the legendary performance of Michael Rennie as Klaatu as well as the many classic genre tropes this film helped to inspire. The political climate of the early fifties also plays a major part in the discussion of a movie that still feels relevant 70 years later.
FEATURING: Brandon Davis, Eric Flick and Ryan Lootens
