The Drury Buck. A 216 Inch Giant. What we think about the Weekend Warrior Shotgun Hunters.

We opened the show talking about and watching the Drury Buck hunt as we recorded. Mark Drury with Drury Outdoors dropped this 216 5/8 Whitetail in Iowa just days before we recorded. Drury nicknamed the buck Disappearing Act. It's a cool story and you can find the video on YouTube.

Tim & Mike's hunting seasons are off to a slow start. Mike took a shot at and missed a Doe. Tim watched a young 6 point semi chasing around some does out in the field. 

Tim received his new Garmin Xero A1i Pro bow sight. A giant thank you to Garmin for sending that! 

Lastly, we give our thoughts on the weekend warrior shotgun hunters. Us bowhunters put in a lot of early season work. Sometimes it pays off. Sometimes it doesn't. Then the shotgun hunters swoop right in on a full rut weekend.
