A Long Island Woman Was Lured to Her Death - Her Brother-in-Law Is Accused

Victoria Castle, a 25-year-old Stony Brook University Ph.D. student, was found dead on June 29, 2026, in the North Massapequa home she shared a building with family. Her brother-in-law, music teacher Joseph Horner, has been charged with second-degree murder after prosecutors alleged a years-long obsession with her. The case remains pending in Nassau County.
