Directed by Mike Flanagan (Hush, Oculus, Gerald's Game), this adaptation of Stephen King's 2013 book about what happened to Danny Torrance (Ewan McGregor) after the events at the Overlook Hotel, does an excellent job of combing King's work with the Stanley Kubrick directed The Shining (1980).
