In the first deposition of the impeachment inquiry, former United States Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker handed over text messages that revealed extensive coordination between Trump administration officials and the president's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate the genesis of the 2016 hack into the DNC and an energy company that employed Joe Biden's son.
