Uncensored Visionary: The Queer Music Podcast
Society & Culture:Personal Journals
Janis Joplin, kid's performer Fred Penner and Hayley Williams from Paramore are some of this week's Uncensored Visionary's musical influences. And after listening to Andrew Neal's music, you can definitely tell that his musical influences are eclectic. Andrew Neal, born in Virginia Beach to a large family, always knew he was going to be singer / songwriter. It was only a matter of time after numerous performing art schools and a move to LA, that he was destined to become a performer. Today, Andrew is working full-time, while actively pursuing his solo career. Andrew admits that his songs won't all be happy. Some of his songs are emotionally draining to write and will make his fans cry and be sad. With a combination of soul, rock, blues and funk, Andrew creates a somewhat musical blend that some may consider to be genre-less music.Learn about Andrew's musical influences, deep songwriting process and so much more on this week’s episode of Uncensored Visionary: A LGBTQ Podcast.Follow Andrew on Instagram.© Uncensored Visionary
