Welcome to the 1st episode of the new John Arezzi's Pro Wrestling Spotlight Podcast. This episode will focus on the 1991 Weekend of Champions wrestling fans convention, promoted by John Arezzi in Queens NY. John and co-host Bob Smith look back at the original episodes of the Pro Wrestling Spotlight radio shows, leading up to that event. Interviews with wrestling legends Lou Thesz and Buddy Rogers highlight the show, with another segment on Ric Flair. We also bring on Frank Patz Batista, who sat with Flair during his two day appearance at the convention, and who took the historic photo of Buddy Rogers posing with Bruno Sammartino at that show.
