#15: The Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter, The Donner Party, and the Mint Julep cocktail

This week Deklan tells us about an alien encounter on the Kelly farm. It occurred in 1955 in Hopkinsville, KY. The witnesses reported a spacecraft landed and then they saw several creatures. A shoot-out occurred as the residents at the farm tried to the defend themselves.

Jane tells us about a group of American settlers in 1846 known as the Donner Party. They began their journey in Illinois headed to California. Towards the end of their months long trip they encountered bad weather. Many who started the journey were not able to finish it.

We also enjoy the classic cocktail the Mint Julep.
