EE 038: Always in the Fight with Ivan Salaverry

In Episode 38 I am joined by MMA Legend Ivan Salaverry. Ivan was an MMA pioneer in the Pacific Northwest with the likes of Maurice Smith, Josh Barnett, Matt Hume and Charlie Pearson. Ivan literally fought his way to the top by dominating the local scene, obtaining titles in smaller promotions and then fighting at the highest level within the UFC. Ivan is known for being one of the most accomplished martial artist in the PNW, but what's even more impressive is his love of country and willingness to stand behind his convictions at all cost. Ivan is a Chilean Immigrant and is in disbelief of the societal decline we've witnessed inside the last year. His training facility (Ivan Salaverry MMA) is downtown Seattle and he's had a front-row seat to the madness that consumed our city throughout 2020.
