This week we're incredibly excited that our guest is author Chuck Tingle. You know Chuck's series of short stories and novellas called Tinglers, like Bisexual Mothman Mailman Makes a Special Delivery in Our Butts and My Handsome Sentient Face Mask Protects Me Despite The Ridiculous Conspiracy Theories That He Won't Also He Pounds My Butt, but he is also a huge fan of horror. His latest novel, the queer horror Camp Damascus is out the day after this podcast episode drops. We chat about his Tinglers, his novels and sexuality. Chuck shares a story about backpacking across America and then we dive into the movie that scarred him for life: Gremlins 2: The New Batch. We talk about the references, the acting, the way in which the film is a parody of Gremlins and so much more.
