Investing in Our Youth is Essential for the Construction Industry - Amanda Osborn

Amanda Osborn, Talent Acquisition Manager for BE&K Building Group, discusses the workforce shortage impacting the construction industry today.

Amanda shares about the importance of investing in the youth in high school and college and educating them about all of the opportunities that are available  in the construction industry. 

She notes that there are three  key things the youth are looking for today in a construction company.

Amanda discusses ways of overcoming the workforce deficit in the trades and that getting construction programs back in the high schools is one of the keys to reviving the trades.

Amanda is confident that the construction industry offers great careers with numerous opportunities for the youth to contribute to. And that having great mentors and an engaging culture are all valuable for our youth in building a strong future in the construction industry.
