Ahead of Liverpool's second meeting with Arsenal at Anfield this week, this time in the Carabao Cup, Pep Lijnders has been speaking with the media. The assistant manager was asked about Thiago Alcantara after the midfielder tested positive for Covid-19, before getting onto the team news for the tie. Liverpool will be without Kostas Tsimikas through injury while Jordan Henderson will also be unavailable. Lijnders was also asked about Neco Williams after the youngster was harshly criticised in some quarters after his showing against Lincoln City in the third round.
