Following his series on the 21 Ecumenical Councils, Justin Hibbard was invited to do a presentation on the councils. In this part 1 series, Justin tells the story of how the Church began the practice of holding a council to settle a debate, what led to the first ecumenical council, and how each of the first 8 (the Eastern Councils) unfolded.
