Episode 212: Superman (2025)

Patrick Belics knows the trials & tribulations of malfunctioning central air conditioning systems. He's probably forgotten more about vents & ducts than you & I will ever know. This is why I took his advice & coated myself head to toe in butter when I got stuck inside the walls at his lovely home on Natoma Ave. As I wriggled to & fro, trying to inch ever closer to an escape, he helped me maintain my sanity by reminding me that even in 2025- a man can fly. And sometimes that man brings a dog to the party. Naturally the sneaky bugger had tickled my joy buzzer once again & got me talking all about the most inspirational & jam-packed comic book blockbuster of the year made by the former Troma filmmaker who always shoots straight, James Gunn's Superman. Don your cape & death-drop a despot cuz there's journalism to do, puppy dogs to save, and a rich bald asshole who badly needs a shot to the bollocks for the good of all mankind! And for the 1st time maybe ever, it ISN'T Jeff Bezos! Everything is on point, the cast couldn't be better, the comic book inspo bona fides are legit, and YES we both cried! As Mr. Terrific himself said, The magic is James.
