EMBRACING YOUR POWER: Growing up Transgender, Crossfit Lawsuit, Bullying & More

Welcome back to this week’s episode of FIO! Today we talk with Chloie Jonsson, all around badass, recovered addict, advocate, athlete, and babe who shares her story about transitioning very young. In this episode, she gives us her perspective as a transgender female who has endured a variety of challenges in school, dating, and even in the fitness world (Re: Crossfit lawsuit). Chloie offers advice to individuals who may be transitioning, as well as tips for loved ones/ people who aren’t very aware of the issues transgender individuals face.

 Chloie takes part in multiple foundations! She is the board president of The OUT Foundation. 

The mission of the OUT Foundation is to remove the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individuals’ access and participation in fitness, health and wellness to ensure their success. @theoutfdn https://theoutfoundation.org/ 

Chloie is also on the board for Reps 4 Recovery, a foundation that helps recovering addicts and alcoholics in Northern NV achieve a sober-active lifestyle. @reps4recovery
