North Carolina began last season ranked No. 1 in the nation, but fell out of the top 25 rather quickly. Prior to that, UNC hadn’t been top 10 in the country since the first five weeks of the 2019-20 season and hadn’t ended a season ranked in the top 10 since the 2018-19 season. Is this the year the Tar Heels can find their way back? The return of Armando Bacot and RJ Davis, plus the incoming transfers (Cormac Ryan, Harrison Ingram, etc.) and the freshmen (Elliot Cadeau, Zayden High) indicate the UNC is in for a special season.
