When Companies Get Acquired Workers Get Hurt

In Episode 84, we discuss what often happens when companies merge or get bought out: workers get hurt. What may have been a family-run business can sometimes feel like a corporate takeover. Stress and anxiety about the future can make people sick. Not knowing the future or how salaries and benefits will be affected makes the situation intolerable. Our job is to try to shield workers from such exploitation. In identifying leaders, find those whom their peers admire, well-like, and trust and who have a vast network of contacts.
