In this episode I talk about my upbringing and the not so picture perfect past that I went through that made me who I am today.
As a survivor of constant physical, verbal and emotional abuse for the first decade of my life, I feel that my story should be shared so that I can help as many people out there who might be going or have gone through the same things as well. Our Iranian community needs to start talking about these issues more. We need to start realizing that the negative stigma around this topic needs to be abolished.
