Season 3 begins our series on the Villisca axe murders and an in-depth look at the Midwest Ax Murders of the early twentieth century, the transient butcher who carried out those horrific crimes, and the way they changed the small railroad towns of the region forever – especially the town of Villisca, Iowa, which has been home to a house that has been called one of the most haunted in America since 1912.
