Globally, Stroke also results in over $721 billion in annual cost and $53 billion in US annual cost between 2017 and 2018. Stroke is an important area for healthcare professionals to concentrate on to make a difference in patient's lives, but before we can understand how to help, we have to understand what we are up against.
