Ep. 13: The Art of Talking to Strangers

For the first episode in our Friendship Series, we’re starting from square one: how to talk to someone new (sorry, Mom, we’re talking to strangers!). How often do you strike up conversation with someone you’ve never met? Is the thought of it fun or frightening?

Tricia loves chatting with new people on the train, at the park, waiting in line...Molly a little less so. In this episode, we discuss some of our own experiences approaching strangers, being approached, and what we’ve learned as a result. We address ways to attract (and repel!) strangers and give pointers on breaking the ice in any setting.
