Book 7 | Ch:10 - Kreacher’s Tale

SPOILERS:

Harry explores more of Grimmauld Place, finding a letter from his mother in Sirius’ bedroom. The trio discover that Sirius’ brother Regulus Arcturus Black was the mysterious R.A.B.

Hermione remembers seeing the Locket two summers before in Grimmauld Place. Harry calls Kreacher, and the house elf reveals that while he did take the locket, it was stolen from him by Mundungus Fletcher.

Kreacher explains how it came into Regulus’ possession. Harry then asks him to find Mundungus and bring him back to Grimmauld Place. Harry wins Kreacher’s loyalty by giving him the false Locket.
