Mike Genung of Blazing Grace Ministries: Candid Talk about Porn, Sex Addiction, and the Very Real Harm they Cause

Mike Genung is the  founder of Blazing Grace, a unique ministry to men and women who struggle with pornography, sexual addiction, and the harm that they cause to both the individual and the family.

Mike struggled with multiple forms of sexual sin from his teen years until 1999.  After being in bondage to sexual sin for 20 years, eight of which were spent in various recovery programs, he was set free after finally putting all my hope and trust in God.

Because the church didn’t talk about sex or porn, Mike always assumed that he was a freak. But after being set free from bondage, he began to see the surveys which reveal that 50% (or more) of Christian men were viewing porn,   He began to ask, "How could so many Christians be struggling with a sin so devastating that it destroys marriages, yet no one is talking about it?"

Today's Kingdom Culture Conversation is frank and honest as Mike shares his story and talks about the depths he fell to before the Lord set him free.  As part of this vital conversation, he shares some of the means by which those trapped in this reality can exercise in pursuit of Christ and the freedom He provides.
